The white noise generated by the machine effectively masks intermittent or continual unwanted noises or confidential conversations that may otherwise be overheard. Because the SoundScreen is designed to be operated continuously for years at a time, this proven performer is our most popular basic model for small office privacy applications.
The SoundScreen comes in two different models, the 980A and the 580A. The 980A offers two speeds, which means a choice of two volume levels, and is the better choice for customers seeking a high-end, basic machine. The 580A is more cost-effective and offers just one uniform level of white noise, making it an economically sound choice. Both machines sport adjustable slots for easy choice of tone and pitch.
