series builds even higher on the solid foundation of fine noise canceling
earphones that have gone before.
Plane Quiet Platinum Solitude features large ear cups
that enclose your ears, sealing against the head instead of pressing against the
ear, for luxurious comfort, even on the longest flights. The ear cups and the
headband are nicely padded, the sound quality is true high fidelity, with a
frequency response every bit as good as the best earphones made by Bose at
20-20,000 Hz! With this much headroom, your favorite music will sound great.
The output power of Plane Quiet Platinum Solitude is
equivalent to the best high end headphones at 104dB at a 1 mw input! This means
you can choose any volume level you like, whether your taste runs to quiet
classical music or chest-thumping rock.
Plane Quiet Platinum Solitude adds to these features,
an impressive active noise canceling system that reduces low end (40 - 1 khz)
constant noise by up to 18 dB! That means you will hear less than 25% of the
background noise when traveling on an airplane. By selectively eliminating the
background noise on the plane, Plane Quiet Platinum Solitude lets you
choose whether you want to converse with your seatmate, rest in comfortable
quiet or listen to your favorite music or in-flight movie...all without the
